HUMMER Gets Two Top 5 Spots

Edmunds.com annual list of the Top 4WD Vehicles for Off-Highway Use lands HUMMER with two of the top five spots.  The H1 Alpha and H2 were the represenatives this year for HUMMER.  Not sure where the H3 landed but it did not make the list this year.

To help consumers choose Edmunds has created this top list with details on each vehicle.  This year Edmunds selected a diverse group of 2006 model-year pickups and SUVs that we feel are the most capable over rough terrain and made recommendations as to how to equip them for maximum performance. Hummer H3 Serves As Memorial

The Mother of a fallen soldier vows to keep the memory of her son alive through a customized Hummer H3 Memorial.  Karla Comfort, whose son Lance Cpl. John Holmason died with nine other Marines in a blast in Fallujah, Iraq, in December, had a Hummer H3 painted with the faces of the fallen personnel as a memorial.

HUMMER H3 Police Vehicles

Most police cars tend to turn heads, but these can drop jaws.

The city of Lone Tree recently bought two Hummer H3s to add to its small but growing police fleet. The vehicles have been outfitted with police equipment and are just about ready for action.

“The main three reasons we got them is because of visibility, versatility and price,” said Lone Tree police Cmdr. Dave Brown.

Painted the traditional black and white, the beefy vehicles are certainly visible.

New US Night Vision HUMMER Scope

pressrelease__1141163016.jpgHUMMER has attached it’s name to yet another product and this time it’s a Night Vision Scope.  In keeping with HUMMERs expensive taste this night scope is not cheap at nearly $2k.  According to US Night Vision you could embark on a night hike, observe a cougar at 3 a.m. or reach your destination safely at night. Umm…. yeah that is what I want to do with a night vision scope that is nearly $2K.  At that price I think I would take my chances getting to my destination safely or using a $5 flashlight. 2007 HUMMER H3x Arriving This Summer!

The H3 Bling Bling is here, oh sorry it’s called the 2007 HUMMER H3x and its based off the H3 street concept which was unveiled at the SEMA show in November of 2005. The H3x will come in eight different exterior color choices along with three interior colors.  The H3x will be arriving at dealerships this Summer.  Read on to find out all the goodies the H3x has to offer.
