HUMMERs New Marketing Director

stooke.jpgMegan Stooke has been named Hummer’s new marketing director, effective March 1, 2006. She replaces Liz Vanzura, who was appointed marketing director for Cadillac on Feb. 1.

In her new capacity, Stooke will be responsible for developing and executing Hummer’s overall marketing strategy, positioning and branding for Hummer products worldwide. She also will provide direction to Hummer’s ad agency, Modernista in Boston. Stooke will report to Martin Walsh, Hummer’s new general manager as of March 1.

Prior to joining the Hummer team, Stooke was director of advertising and sales promotion for the Chevrolet Division since May 2005. In that capacity she was responsible for Chevrolet national advertising and sales promotions.

Prior to her time at Chevrolet, Stooke worked for GM’s Australian subsidiary, GM Holden for 10 years, in various marketing and sales roles. Before working for GM Holden, Stooke spent six years with Kraft Foods Australia, also in marketing and sales.

    If this reaches her office,I would like to have a date as to
    when we can see the first H3 hummer in Australia as I would
